In addition to our weekly services, we have recently been promoting our outreach ministry by hosting several events:
1) Men and Women Fellowships - Where we get together and discuss issues that involve both men and women and their relationships.
2) Women Fellowships - Where the women get together and discuss their issues and duties as working women, mothers, wives, and primarily their duties as women of God.
3) Men Fellowships - Where the men get to hammer out their feelings and issues as having the responsibility as the head of the household, fathers, husbands, etc.
4) Food and Clothes Pantry - Established to help members in need, as well as people in the community who are less fortunate.
5) Youth Ministry - The youth have their own service and activities where they can learn the Word of God at their level.
Minister McDowell has also done several series on “The Family—A Collective Unit.” In his series, he breaks down each part of the family and its functions. First starting with the male (as the head and the image of God), then the female (who is the caregiver), the children, and then blended families as well. He has also done several messages on prosperity and “Stepping Out On Your Faith—The Way God Intended.” For more information about different series that have been done at TCC, please contact our church for CDs of the sermons.
